AI Won't Replace You. The CPA Using AI Will.
Speaker: Arthur Kostaras, CPA, CMA, CF, REV | Founder of Phronisi & Senior Finance Leader
AI is rapidly entering tax and accounting practice, but most CPAs are told what AI can do without being shown how to actually use it, or where it quietly introduces risk. This session will close that gap, led by a CPA who builds and operates AI-native systems daily rather than describing them in theory. Participants will gain a clear, practical model for where AI creates genuine leverage in tax and accounting workflows, how to evaluate tools critically, and how to deploy them responsibly without over-trusting output that can be confidently wrong. The session is operator-level and immediately applicable.

The session also examines strategies to help reduce the passive income grind for Canadian controlled private corporations. This session will use a real case study to illustrate how financial planning techniques can be implemented to add value and maximize long term wealth for clients.
