Course Modularization and Flexible Learning Options

As the profession continues to evolve, so do the learning needs of our learners. To provide greater flexibility and support different learning preferences, we are redesigning select courses into shorter, modular formats. This approach makes it easier for learners to focus on the topics most relevant to their roles, interests, and professional development goals.

Beginning this fall, selected PD titles will be offered as shorter, focused courses. Rather than enrolling in a single course that covers multiple topics, learners will be able to register for shorter individual courses or combine several shorter courses to create a broader learning experience.

Each modular course focuses on a specific topic or area of practice, providing targeted, practical learning in a shorter format. Learners can select the topics most relevant to their needs and build a learning experience that aligns with their schedules, interests, and professional development goals.

This approach offers greater flexibility, supports learning at the point of need, and allows content to be updated more quickly as standards, regulations, and professional practices evolve, all while maintaining the high-quality learning experience learners expect from CPABC Professional Development Program.

Course completion requirements will not change. Learners will continue to earn CPD hours for the learning they complete; however, those hours may be earned through a series of shorter courses rather than a single, longer course.

Pricing will reflect the length and scope of individual courses. Rather than registering for a course longer in duration, learners will be able to register for the specific topics that meet their learning needs. Pricing information for individual courses and any bundled learning options will be available at the time of registration.

Some of the modularized courses may be available in a bundled option in on-demand delivery format for learners who want a more comprehensive learning experience. Availability will be noted on course description pages.
