- Identify and reduce common audit exposures, including ITC documentation, meals and entertainment limits, taxable benefits, reimbursements, non-collection of tax, related party supplies, real property transactions, place of supply errors, and selected currency and pricing issues.

- Common exposures:
- ITC eligibility and documentation, meals and entertainment, taxable benefits, non-employee reimbursements, non-collection and rate errors, related-party transactions (including nil-consideration elections), real property transaction reporting obligations (including self-assessments), place-of-supply issues, and selected special topics (e.g., foreign currency, forfeited deposits, deferred price adjustments).

Live webinars have varying levels of expected interaction, with some requiring microphone and camera capabilities to support a proper learning experience – please email pdreg@bccpa.ca if you have concerns.
In general, we encourage participants to have their cameras turned on to enhance their virtual learning experience. This practice promotes a stronger connection with the instructor and fellow participants, and fosters improved communication and collaboration.

David Crawford, CPA, is a former partner of the large international firm environment, who has broken from the pack to work with servicing clients of the small- to medium-sized accounting and law firms across the country. David has worked in the practice area for over 25 years and runs his practice from his Calgary office.
