The Controller’s Management Program will focus on management soft skills, while The Controller’s Operational Skills Program will focus on core technical and operational skills. You can choose to complete only one of these programs, but if you complete both components you will receive the CPABC Controllership Program Certificate. Note that these programs can be completed in any order as they focus on separate and distinct skills. Additional future offerings to be scheduled.
Accommodation
For 2026: It will be up to the registrant to decide if they wish to stay on-site at the venue. CPABC will not be holding any accommodation blocks at the hotel and cannot guarantee special conference rates during this time. Note that if there is enough interest, CPABC will try to negotiate a group rate at the venue closer to the program start date, subject to availability and uptake.
CPABC has negotiated corporate rates at some hotels in Vancouver, Victoria, and Whistler as part of Member Services' Benefits and Savings. Note that the cost of the accommodation is separate from the program fee, and those who require accommodation will need to make their own arrangements. If you require accommodation, we recommend booking as soon as possible, as the corporate rate can sell out. We also strongly suggest that you do not book any non-refundable rates prior to confirming that the program will be going ahead as scheduled.
