Overview
Any journey is best shared. This program is designed to give you resources to thrive in your career, while building connections with other awesome women in the profession. Learn and practice new skills, get to know yourself better, and share stories and experiences with women in the accounting profession.
Advisories:
- As this is a highly interactive series, participants should have access to audio and video capabilities (mic and camera) in order to participate in breakout rooms and chat.
- Some sessions in this series will be recorded and made available for limited-time playback.
Please be prepared to do the following:
- Take space and make space for everyone
- Commit to the whole program and prioritize participation in each session
- Respect everyone’s right to privacy and confidentiality
- Contribute thoughtfully and treat everyone with respect
- Promote an open dialogue about diversity, inclusion and equality
- Encourage the appreciation of other’s strengths and unique characteristics
- Show interest and demonstrate genuine curiosity to get to know others
- Be open to new ideas and people
- Listen to and value everyone’s experience, ideas and opinions
Registrants will be asked to complete a short participant survey to allow our presenters to prepare for the group.

Improving Your Virtual Learning Experience
Live webinars have varying levels of expected interaction, with some requiring microphone and camera capabilities to support a proper learning experience – please email pdreg@bccpa.ca if you have concerns.
In general, we encourage participants to have their cameras turned on to enhance their virtual learning experience. This practice promotes a stronger connection with the instructor and fellow participants, and fosters improved communication and collaboration.

Tammy Robertson is a Resilience Play Maker who believes resilience isn’t built in theory — it’s forged on the field, in the messy, uncertain moments when the old playbook no longer works and new moves are needed. With over 25 years working with CPA’s across Canada Tammy consults with leaders and teams in industry and public practice to build highly engaged cultures people never want to leave. Known for her straight talk, humor, and storytelling, she blends research with practical tools to help people step out of autopilot and become more intentional, confident, and impactful in the roles they play every day.
Carrie Gallant, JD, is an executive leadership coach and negotiation strategist dedicated to helping women leaders find their voice, own their value, and lead with confidence in high-stakes conversations. As a former lawyer and executive, Carrie understands firsthand the internal and external dynamics that can make self-advocacy challenging. Her work focuses on closing that gap: equipping leaders with both the mindset and skillset to negotiate effectively; communicate with impact; and influence outcomes with intention. Carrie is also the co-author of Conversations for Tomorrow’s Leaders, bringing a thought leadership perspective to how to connect, build trust and collaborate. She is the founder of The Gallant Leader™ Institute and creator of her evolving body of work, Executive Success by Design™, which supports leaders in approaching negotiation as a thoughtful, strategic, and human-centered practice. Carrie is an accredited Negotiation Consultant with ENS International and is certified in Conversational Intelligence and Authentic Leadership for Teams™. She is also a certified Ignite Human Design Coach™ and Impostor Syndrome Informed Coach™. Her Art of Negotiation for Women framework is featured in acclaimed leadership programs including Tara Mohr’s Playing Big, WNORTH’s 360 Leadership Program, and the Women’s Enterprise Centre of British Columbia.
TAMMY TOWILL, FCPA, MBA, MA is a partner in the Cordura Group. A passionate enthusiast of the neuroscience of learning (the how and why we choose to learn what we do) who firmly believes that people want to make a difference with their work. Tammy is an accomplished C-suite advisor, entrepreneur, and CDI-accredited Board candidate with over 25 years of experience in complex business transformation, education, and governance and has been privileged to work throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
