Overview

Could humour be the antidote to the pressure and overwhelm of nonstop change and chaos? Could a lighter approach that offers a nod to absurdity and a release valve to everything we have packed into a day be the thing that builds resilience and perseverance? The research says YES!

In a world where languishing became a common way to describe our mood, most teams are ready to amp up energy and start flourishing again. This course invites you to rediscover how to bring lightness, levity, and genuine enjoyment back into your work and your life.

The Advanced Resilient Leadership Certificate Program

CPABC is pleased to present the Advanced Resilient Leadership Certificate Program. This four-part program will focus on providing strategies and tools to leaders so they can become examples of resilience and build resilient teams. The challenges for leaders are extraordinary. With continued uncertainty, unrelenting change and an exhausted workforce, Resilient leadership is the first one. How do you engage and inspire your teams amid high levels of stress and burnout? Without resilient leadership it will be impossible to have healthy employees who care about your business, feel committed and invested enough to work hard on new solutions with hope, immense courage and sustained energy. The four modules are:

Each seminar can be taken as a stand-alone course, but in order to qualify for the certificate, participants are required to complete all four titles.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
The four seminars in the Advanced Resilient Leadership Certificate Program will be offered as live webinars for the final time during the Spring/Summer 2026 season. Beginning July 2026, these seminars will transition to an on-demand format with no live instruction. We encourage participants to plan their registrations accordingly.

Course Description

Positive emotions aren’t a distraction from real work — they’re a catalyst for it. Neuroscience shows that joy broadens thinking, fuels creativity, strengthens relationships, and builds resilience. When people laugh more, connect more, and don’t take themselves sooo seriously, they problem-solve better, learn faster, and recover from setbacks sooner. The good news is that you don’t need to “BE Funny” to create a lighter atmosphere, you just need to be “easier to laugh.”

As the final course in this series, you will leave inspired about what is possible when leaders intentionally create opportunities for real joy in the workplace. Lightheartedness is an act of social courage that can transform teams and build connection, trust and influence.

We remember the uplifting moments — when we learned something, achieved something meaningful, shared a smile, or felt genuine connection. This session will outline a dozen simple ways to make those moments happen more often — on purpose.
