Content
Leaders may not always understand how their behaviour, ethical or lack thereof, impacts an organizational team. Leaders will reinforce how their leadership decisions and actions impact the organizational climate, and thus the accepted behaviours that follow. This includes modeling the desired behaviour, emotional intelligence, and exercising good judgment. The material will be presented in four modules including:
- personal ethical behaviour (morals, values and implicit bias)
- expectations of leadership and the value of ethical leadership on culture (leadership styles, team dynamics, and trust)
- modeling the desired behaviour (using emotional intelligence and exercising good judgment)
- supporting ethical team dynamics (critical thinking, healthy conflict, and balancing fairness with equity)
