Whether it is next week’s weather or the yet-to-be created technology that is sure to evolve how we work, the future is truly impossible to predict. While trends, charts, and forecasting are interesting, we must shift from trying to anticipate the future to focusing on building resilient systems and teams that can navigate whatever the future may bring. In this engaging, insight-filled, and actionable presentation, workplace culture and leadership expert Eric Termuende delivers a research-backed blueprint that has helped thousands of category-leading teams build trust, remove friction, and prepare for a future that is changing constantly, unpredictably, and faster than ever before. Participants will learn from the experiences of industry leaders, icons, and trailblazers from around the world about the importance of building trust, removing friction, and creating a culture of experimentation. |

Eric will share research-backed insights on building team agility and excitement toward impending change. Room 217-219 Presenter | Economic Update This session explores the outlook for the Canadian and BC economies. Since 2014, Canada’s economy has barely grown when adjusted for population, ranking second weakest in GDP per capita growth out of 38 OECD countries over the past five and ten years. While public sector spending has been robust, private sector activity has stagnated or retreated. The U.S. Trump administration’s disruption of global trade presents significant challenge. Canada and BC must transition from a growth model reliant on credit growth, population growth and public sector spending to one focused on improving conditions for private sector activity. What policies can ensure a stable economic future for Canada and BC? |

First impressions, positive or negative, are made in seven seconds or less. We all make quick assessments of others without even realizing it. We are not born with bias. Biases are formed by past situations, experiences, background and culture. Unconscious biases typically exist towards gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability (both physical and mental), and weight. Most of us will say “I see people for who they are” but do we? Unconscious biases are unavoidable, and they affect and impact decision making with real impact, both professionally and personally. Recognizing, managing and mitigating unconscious bias promotes diversity and inclusion. Diversity and inclusion drives innovation, increases productivity, and stimulates creativity while promoting a healthy, happy, engaging workplace culture. *Contains 75 minutes of ethics content |

CPAs are relied on to be stewards of truth, integrity, and objectivity. These characteristics are rooted in our Code of Professional Conduct and underpin public trust. Mis/disinformation – fueled by technology such as generative AI – has significant detrimental effects on the decision-making of individuals, organizations and communities. This session will explore how technology drives mis/disinformation, and strategies we can use to uphold ethical leadership and mitigate the threats of mis/disinformation. We will discuss the responsibilities of CPAs in various roles regarding information integrity, learn the expectations for skepticism and due care, and gain tools to meet these expectations. *Contains 75 minutes of ethics content |

FAQs
Can I register for only one day at the conference?
No. However, all conference sessions will be recorded and available on demand for 30 days. If you have a scheduling conflict, your conference registration will give you access to recorded sessions until December 31, 2025.
Can I attend one day in-person, and the other online?
We recommend that you register for the in-person event. This will allow you to attend in-person on the day of your choice, and you will have access to recordings of the other sessions for 30 days after the event.
Can I claim verifiable CPD for watching the recorded sessions?
Yes, after completing a quiz at the end of each recording, you will be awarded verifiable CPD credits. You may only claim CPD for each session once. If you attended the session live, you can rewatch the session but should not claim CPD credits again.
Why is there special pricing for new members and candidates?
We are providing an additional discount to new members to encourage them to attend the conference. In the past, we limited this type of discount to members qualifying since the previous conference, usually a year. Since we haven’t held a big conference since 2019, this discount has been extended to cover members who have joined in the past 5 years.
When does early bird pricing end?
Early bird pricing will end October 1, 2025.
What is the best deal for CPAs registering for the Infinite Conference?
The best deal for members is to purchase a PD passport. The personal passport price is $1,425, which gives you 60 credits of PD. The Infinite Conference will use 24 credits, and you’ll have another 36 credits for any PD sessions between Sept 1, 2025 and Aug 31, 2026.
How many CPD hours are available at the Infinite Conference?

How many Ethics CPD hours are available at the Infinite Conference?
The Infinite Conference includes up to 3.5 hours of ethics content.
What is the difference between the CPABC Infinite Conference and a CPABC Nexus Day?
The Infinite Conference is a two-day hybrid event with keynotes, seminars, and networking opportunities. Nexus Days are single-day conferences with multiple short sessions tailored more to specific audience groups (e.g. public practitioners, industry) or topics (e.g. IT, business insights).
