Tax Executives Institute (TEI) Award in Tax ($2,000)

Purpose
Open to a 3rd or 4th year student of an accounting major or business program, attending an accredited post-secondary institution in British Columbia or in the preparatory program at the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB). The selection will be based on satisfactory academic achievement: the applicant must have a minimum grade level of 85% in a 3rd or 4th year tax course. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate a passion for tax through their application.
Sponsored by the Tax Executives Institute, this award is open to students at all post-secondary institutions in British Columbia.
Procedures
This form should be completed and submitted with a recent transcript of marks, a personal statement, and a letter of reference from an accounting instructor (from college or university). The personal statement should explain your interest in tax and consideration for a career in tax.
The CPAEF will review all the applications received and the successful applicant will be notified.
