PowerPivot provides unparalleled options for analyzing data and preparing summary reports in Excel. With PowerPivot, available in Microsoft Office Professional Plus or the standalone version of Excel, your PivotTable reports become even more powerful. PowerPivot can connect directly to a large number of common external data sources or can be used in conjunction with Power Query for superior data import and transformation capability. DAX functions allow users to create sophisticated calculations, both columns and measures, and the relational functionality of PowerPivot provides all the tools necessary for creating an intermediary database from multiple data sources. Put PowerPivot to use immediately by participating in this very practical session, which is sure to help you improve your analytical and reporting processes.

What training platform will be used?
The session will use the GoToTraining solution from Citrix as the training platform. The solution works with virtually all computers. If you are connecting from a Windows-based computer, GoToTraining will automatically launch into session if you have Java enabled. It is recommended that you install or upgrade Java to connect quickly to sessions. If you are using a Mac and have never joined a GoToTraining/GoToMeeting session before, you will first need to download the Citrix Online Launcher file.
Can I participate using my iPad or Android-powered tablet?
To use an iPad, you will first have to download the GoToMeeting app from the App Store, then use the app to connect to the webinar. At this time, GoToTraining does not support connections from Android-powered tablets.
How do I hear the audio portion of my online training?
You have two options – both will be detailed in the “How to Join the Training” section of the confirmation you will receive from K2E. The first option is to listen through your computer’s audio system. The second option is to dial in to the online training session using your phone (not a toll-free call).
How early may I login to my online training session?
You may login up to thirty minutes in advance of the designated start time.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Within 24 hours after you complete the session, you will receive an email message containing your course completion certificate. In order to earn CPD credits, testing is required – at intervals during the presentation, you will need to respond to questions to confirm your attendance and active participation in the event. You must answer at least 75% of these questions in order to receive full CPD credit for the session.
What email address will I receive the session information from?
The email address sending the session information will be firstname.lastname@example.org
In order to register you to the webinars hosted by K2E, it is necessary for CPABC to provide your name and email address to K2E Canada Inc. This information will be used solely for the purposes of providing you with K2E webinar(s)’ confirmations and reminders.
