Content

For each of the three mandatory disclosure regimes, consideration will be given to

  • The transactions that are caught by the regime
  • The person(s) that are obligated to report
  • The consequences for failing to report
  • The Canada Revenue Agency’s guidance on the regime (which was last updated on August 15, 2024)
This is a great opportunity for accountants to learn about the mandatory disclosure rules that may impact not only their clients, but also themselves because advisors may also have reporting obligations in certain circumstances.
