In a recent Google search, dozens of books on the topic of crucial, fierce, important conversations were found. One common theme emerges from this literature – the fear of difficult conversations is often more stressful than the actual conversation.Think of a conversation you’ve been putting off. You know you should speak to someone, but you don’t. Maybe you’ve tried to have a conversation and it went badly. Or maybe you fear that talking will only make the situation worse. Why are you delaying it? What is causing the hesitation?
This half-day course places difficult conversations at the core of successful work relationships. The session will introduce a set of tools to prepare and deliver difficult conversations in a variety of settings.
