This seminar provides an brief overview of amendments to the BC Employment Standards Act (“ESA”) as well a major decisions interpreting it, with emphasis on new obligations and commonly misunderstood requirements. In addition, this seminar review the requirements of the Pay Transparency Act, which comes into force in November, 2023.
