Overview

As ESG considerations become increasingly central across investment banking, commercial banking, corporate finance, and asset management, professionals need the skills to navigate complex ESG issues in a dynamic business environment. This course introduces learners to the foundational principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors in financial decision-making. Participants will explore systems thinking and the significance of context in ESG analysis, conduct materiality assessments, and evaluate ESG risks and opportunities for various stakeholders. The course also guides learners in assessing the quality of corporate ESG actions and developing an ESG scorecard using practical exercises and client scenarios. By the end, participants will have a solid understanding of how to integrate ESG considerations into financial analysis and strategy.
