Resilient Leadership - Who's Listening (On-Demand - CPABC)
Overview
Listening isn’t just about hearing words - it’s about understanding ideas, connecting with others, and building trust. Yet, in many workplaces, there’s a glaring disconnect: leaders think they’re listening, but their teams feel unheard. The truth is genuinely listening is a determination – a skill that can be developed and practiced. When mastered, it transforms team dynamics and fosters a culture of respect and collaboration.
Listening well builds engagement and significance, reduces stress and burnout while building a robust and trusting team experience. It builds a brave space and gets people to speak up, share ideas and learn together.

Course Description
This session is about how to listen when it’s hard to listen. How do you listen when it’s uncomfortable, when you or someone else is emotional, when there is a value conflict, when you disagree, when people are “worked up?” How are you listening in ways that build your team and create psychological safety, reduce stress and help people think better?
In this moment when we need to hear and be heard more than ever, we have paradoxically become worse at listening. This webinar will change the way you think about communicating with your team, family, and friends. It will provide a roadmap on how to listen and why it matters so much now.
