- Indicators and risk: red flags, fraud-risk factors, and elements of an effective fraud-risk management program.
- Investigation planning: initial response, evidence preservation, standards and practice aids, investigative plan, analysis, reporting, and corrective actions.
- Core techniques: interviewing basics and workplace investigation considerations; investigative research (public records, social media, privacy constraints); digital forensics, e-discovery, and data analytics.
- Legal pathways and recovery: essential first steps, specialized legal tools and orders, and recovery mechanisms (insurance, civil/criminal proceedings, ADR).
- Integrated case study: applying the end-to-end framework from allegation to outcome.
