Course Description
In today’s uncertain, paradoxical world, people increasingly find themselves in less than satisfying careers, with doubtful prospects for advancement. The further you travel in an unexamined direction, the harder it becomes to change course. Autopilot kicks in and keeps you on the same old glidepath. You are the CEO of your life and like every business, sooner or later, something fundamental will change. There are no exceptions to this rule – life is a series of inflection points. The average person goes through five major transitions over their lifespan. Are you smart enough to recognize them, brave enough to seize them and creative enough to reorient your path forward?
There are very few things we can’t do. What we don’t, or won’t, is because we choose not to. If you decide to ignore that reality, then you are the architect of your own misfortune. Don’t blame others or unpredictable circumstances. As the captain of your ship, you must be alert to the signals and know how to sail more confidently against the winds of change. Have you plateaued or stalled? Are things going downhill? Can you see the bigger picture? Why spend the rest of your days doing what you don’t enjoy or what doesn’t nourish you? Is “just OK” the life you desire?
We can all do remarkable things when we understand how to navigate the daunting obstacles life throws at us. It’s not the plan that’s important, it’s the process. And the best time to start designing a different life story is now. You will never look back on your regrets after this unique life-changing, learning experience.
