Overview

The organizational “climate” leaders create in their work environment is a key factor in the performance of their employees, teams, and ultimately the results of their organization.  The role of leader as coach is a core role in creating and sustaining performance. This short course focuses on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to become effective and respected leader/coaches, able to turn compliance into commitment to achieve the desired results for their business unit, teams and themselves in a more effective manner.


This live virtual seminar is offered in collaboration with CPA Western Provinces. The content is applicable to all participants.

Shawn Ireland DR. SHAWN IRELAND is a founding partner and managing director of HRCgroup, Inc. He works extensively with Fortune 500 companies, foreign governments and international aid agencies. His expertise includes fostering critical thinking, strategic change, virtual teamwork, and managing human behaviour. He’s an adjunct Faculty member in the Doctor of Psychology Clinical Psychology graduate program at Adler University in Vancouver.

Live webinars have varying levels of expected interaction, with some requiring microphone and camera capabilities to support a proper learning experience – please email pdreg@bccpa.ca if you have concerns. 

In general, we encourage participants to have their cameras turned on to enhance their virtual learning experience. This practice promotes a stronger connection with the instructor and fellow participants, and fosters improved communication and collaboration.
