Overview

Effective communication is a critical leadership skill, particularly in today’s complex and rapidly changing business environment. This webinar explores the principles of clear, authentic, and consistent communication and their role in building trust, strengthening relationships, and achieving organizational goals. Participants will gain practical strategies to communicate with greater confidence, connect more effectively with diverse audiences, and navigate common communication challenges faced by leaders.

 


This live virtual seminar is offered in collaboration with CPA Western Provinces. The content is applicable to all participants.

Course Description

Strong communication helps leaders build credibility, inspire action, and navigate uncertainty. This practical session introduces a strategic approach to leadership communication, helping participants develop clear, authentic, and purposeful messages. Participants will explore common communication challenges and learn techniques to communicate more effectively with teams, colleagues, and stakeholders in a variety of professional situations.

Applicable for

This course is appropriate for leaders and aspiring leaders who want to improve how they lead, connect with teams and colleagues, and drive results.

Learning Objectives

  • Craft strategic communication using a six-step framework.
  • Think strategically about the type of leader they want to be known as and how communication can support this goal.
  • Identify and work to improve common communication challenges in their workplace.

  • Unpack a communication framework that can be used to strategically develop any communication
  • Explore strategies for effectively connecting with your audience by understanding what matters to them most
  • Learn how to craft key messages that resonate and lead to your desired outcomes
  • Understand common communication challenges, why they occur, and what you can do about them.

In general, we encourage participants to have their cameras turned on to enhance their virtual learning experience. This practice promotes a stronger connection with the instructor and fellow participants, and fosters improved communication and collaboration.
