Overview

Every team has a culture - the real question is whether it energizes people or quietly wears them down.

When negativity, defensiveness, gossip, or disengagement take hold, performance suffers and trust erodes. Left unaddressed, harmful norms become “just the way things are.” This session provides leaders with a practical roadmap to move from apathy, tension, and silence to ownership, trust, and positive momentum.

This seminar is eligible towards
The Advanced Resilient Leadership Certificate Program

CPABC is pleased to present the Advanced Resilient Leadership Certificate Program. This four-part program will focus on providing strategies and tools to leaders so they can become examples of resilience and build resilient teams. The challenges for leaders are extraordinary. With continued uncertainty, unrelenting change and an exhausted workforce, Resilient leadership is the first one. How do you engage and inspire your teams amid high levels of stress and burnout? Without resilient leadership it will be impossible to have healthy employees who care about your business, feel committed and invested enough to work hard on new solutions with hope, immense courage and sustained energy. The four modules are:

Each seminar can be taken as a stand-alone course, but in order to qualify for the certificate, participants are required to complete all four titles.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
The four seminars in the Advanced Resilient Leadership Certificate Program will be offered as live webinars for the final time during the Spring/Summer 2026 season. Beginning July 2026, these seminars will transition to an on-demand format with no live instruction. We encourage participants to plan their registrations accordingly.

Course Description

You will explore what drives toxic behaviors, why they persist, and how to interrupt them quickly and constructively. Through honest reflection and concrete tools, you’ll learn how to respond to defensiveness, bullying, micromanagement, emotional blowups, and other energy-draining patterns without escalating conflict or losing credibility.

This session equips you to see culture clearly, address harm directly, and replace unhealthy habits with practices that build connection, accountability, and psychological safety. You’ll examine the difference between bystanding and upstanding, learn how to hold boundaries with compassion, and develop the courage to lead with strength and self-respect.

Walk away with a dozen immediately usable actions to transform everyday interactions into culture-shaping moments — along with a practical 7-day challenge to help you sustain the shift.

Terrific cultures don’t happen by accident. They are built through consistent, courageous choices — one conversation at a time.
