An Introduction to Facilitating Difficult Conversations (Live Webinar)
Overview
This is an interactive and engaging half day workshop designed to assist participants to enhance their capacity to effectively facilitate challenging conversations that encourage interactive, open, and inclusive dialogue.
Advisory: As this is a highly interactive workshop, participants will need to have access to audio and video capabilities (mic and camera) in order to participate in the breakout rooms and chat.

- identify the distinction between facilitation and traditional chairing of meetings and in what situations each would be most beneficial
- explore and use core practices required to become an effective facilitator
- engage with and apply specific facilitation tools and strategies to build and maintain consistent, visible, and transparent discussions throughout all levels of the organization

Improving Your Virtual Learning Experience
Live webinars have varying levels of expected interaction, with some requiring microphone and camera capabilities to support a proper learning experience – please email pdreg@bccpa.ca if you have concerns.
In general, we encourage participants to have their cameras turned on to enhance their virtual learning experience. This practice promotes a stronger connection with the instructor and fellow participants, and fosters improved communication and collaboration.
