- Understand how technological advancements like AI and automation are transforming the CPA profession and the skills needed to thrive yet how they can also create barriers relative to trust and human connection.
- Understand the neuroscience that drives trust, human connection, and motivation and allows individuals and teams to produce, perform and create in amazing ways.
- Recognize the critical role CPAs can play in finding the balance between technology and human connection; they are constantly adapting to technological change and are always looked to for trusted professional advice in difficult circumstances.
- Learn five tools and practices to make the most of innovation while leveraging uniquely human qualities related to trust, ethics, empathy, listening, professional judgment, and inspiring confidence.

Improving Your Virtual Learning Experience
Live webinars have varying levels of expected interaction, with some requiring microphone and camera capabilities to support a proper learning experience – please email pdreg@bccpa.ca if you have concerns.
In general, we encourage participants to have their cameras turned on to enhance their virtual learning experience. This practice promotes a stronger connection with the instructor and fellow participants, and fosters improved communication and collaboration.
