In this session, Gayle Hallgren, one of Canada's top networking experts, will share tactical and practical networking strategies to help participants initiate conversations, build rapport, and move interactions toward more meaningful professional relationships. From walking into a room of strangers to managing small talk to following up effectively for meaningful conversations, participants will learn how to navigate common networking challenges. Gayle will guide participants in developing a sustainable approach to building a strategic network and discuss the top 10 networking challenges.

  • Build confidence initiating, sustaining, and exiting professional conversations in various settings
  • Develop a plan to build and maintain a strategic professional network
  • Understand how to strengthen connections, and approach networking with clarity and purpose

Improving Your Virtual Learning Experience

Live webinars have varying levels of expected interaction, with some requiring microphone and camera capabilities to support a proper learning experience – please email pdreg@bccpa.ca if you have concerns. 

In general, we encourage participants to have their cameras turned on to enhance their virtual learning experience. This practice promotes a stronger connection with the instructor and fellow participants, and fosters improved communication and collaboration.
