Overview

As a leader confidence is your most valuable resource; it’s time to build it. Not fake bravado, the real deal. You can build the kind of confidence that grounds you and bolsters everyone around you. Success correlates more closely with confidence than it does with competence. You are going to need it. There is evidence that confidence is more important than ability when it comes to getting ahead. So, why is it in such short supply?

This live virtual seminar is offered in collaboration with CPA Western Provinces. The content is applicable to all participants.

Course Description

As the world keeps changing and stress and anxiety rise with uncertainty, we need leaders who who understand rigid confidence isn’t what we are talking about. Projecting rock-solid confidence when plans are fragile is a recipe for disaster.  Confidence comes more from your willingness to keep learning and to support your team in improving and getting better.

More than this, leaders today need to help their team build honest confidence. Have you ever felt that some of your team would rather sit in the stands than be on the field? Would you like them to take more risks, put themselves out there, embrace new challenges and learn to recover again and again from setbacks, disappointments and failures? Confidence is what keeps you challenging yourself, stepping up to new opportunities and reaching your full potential.

You can develop a confidence practice using tools and strategies and insights and inspiration to take your game to the next level! The confidence that you model teaches confidence to everyone around you, including your team, your colleagues and even your family.  You'll learn how to steady yourself, inspire trust, and guide your team through change with grounded presence and practical tools.
