Overview

This course gives you the tools you need to face adversity, exhibiting courage and flexibility in the face of change, staying positive despite the challenges, and ideally embracing and growing from the many changes life brings, good or bad.

This is an online virtual offering. Live webinars have varying levels of expected interaction, with some requiring microphone and camera capabilities to support a proper learning experience – please email pdreg@bccpa.ca if you have concerns.

Course Description

Change can be hard. Whether it is the frustration that comes with running into heavy traffic when we didn’t expect it or dealing with the bigger changes in life (like going back to school, changing career, becoming a parent, or looking at retirement), it is normal to experience some stress, resistance and even wishing the change was easier. Whether we like it or not, life is about change and we are always in transition.

Unfortunately, we can become overwhelmed by too much change or overly resist, fight or avoid change, which adds to our stress and only makes life harder. The goal in life is to become a “change master” as we face and adapt to the many changes that will come our way professionally or personally.

This course is for individuals who want to improve their skills dealing with changes in life.
