Overview

This course provides participants with opportunities to evaluate ethical scenarios in a variety of contexts that are realistic and representative of the CPA demographic (including industry, not-for-profit, public sector and public practice).

Participants will increase their competence and confidence in interpreting and applying the CPA Code of Professional Conduct to real-life workplace challenges.

 
This free On-Demand course is accessible only to CPABC members and candidates, and can be accessed for only up to 60 days from the registration date.

Applicable for

This course will appeal to members who enjoy an actively engaging CPD setting using interactive polling to analyze real-life ethical scenarios. 

The content is applicable to all professional roles and all levels of previous experience.  

Content

The course begins with a brief refresher of the CPA Code of Professional Conduct, followed by team-based evaluations of ethical scenarios and potential actions to determine where the line of acceptable behaviour is crossed.
