CPABC PD is excited to once again present our annual PD Nexus: Information Technology Insights. Join us online for this dynamic virtual event. Choose to dive into the full event or select only your preferred day - Day One or Day Two.


Registration Options

You will have access to all four plenary sessions by default, but you can customize your experience by selecting which breakout sessions you would like access to. There are three great titles per breakout timeslot but please note that you will have access only to the ones that you select.  

Advisory: All sessions will be recorded and made available for purchase as part of our PD On-Demand inventory. Only the instructor’s video will be featured, and any non-course-related discussions or content will be removed during editing.

Course Description

This PD Nexus Day will benefit accounting professionals who need to keep current with the latest technologies, as well as determine what applications are worth implementing. It will offer practical technology topics designed to help alleviate heavy workloads of today’s busy professionals.

Brian Tankersley BRIAN TANKERSLEY, CITP, is a certified public accountant in Tennessee, a chartered global management accountant, and a consultant who advises US firms and companies on accounting technology issues. He is a frequent speaker at continuing education courses for K2 Enterprises and publishes a nationally recognized blog on accounting and technology. Brian has also served as the technology editor for a major accounting industry publication. Randy writes a monthly column for The CPA Practice Advisor, articles for the Journal of Accountancy, and creates articles for both accounting and technology publications, as well as being the author of numerous books.
Tommy Stephens
TOMMY STEPHENS, CITP, maintains professional memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is a chartered global management accountant. In 2003, Mr. Stephens affiliated with K2 Enterprises and in 2007 he joined the firm as a partner. Tommy received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (Major in Accounting) from Auburn University in 1985. In 1992, he earned a Master of Science degree (Major in Finance) from Georgia State University in Atlanta. During his professional career, Tommy has gained valuable experience in a variety of positions, including: working as an auditor and technology consultant for an Atlanta-based public accounting firm; leading an Internal Audit staff and managing a Cost Accounting team for a Fortune 500 company; serving as a Chief Financial Officer for an international engineering organization; and founding and managing his public accounting firm that provides accounting, tax, and consulting services to individuals and a variety of small and emerging businesses. Over the past thirty-eight years, Tommy has presented over 3,100 educational sessions to over 78,000 participants throughout the United States and Canada.

MAC MCCLELLAND, an attorney and accounting professional, is an associate of K2 Enterprises of Hammond, Louisiana, and Network Management Group of Hutchinson, Kansas. He gained practical experience in information systems with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and has an established practice in business and technology consulting. Mac has taught hundreds of continuing professional education seminars to accountants and business managers in the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
