This course provides a concise overview of the evolving AI risk landscape confronting accountants in both public practice and corporate/industry roles. You will examine emerging regulatory frameworks (AIDA, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001), robust data-governance measures, bias-mitigation techniques, cybersecurity safeguards, and internal-control designs that keep AI-driven finance functions reliable, ethical, and defensible. Real-world cases and interactive exercises illustrate how to embed human-in-the-loop oversight, monitor model performance, and document controls so that any accounting team - whether delivering audit & tax services or running in-house finance operations - an innovate with confidence.

Public-practice CPAs, corporate controllers, finance leaders, and risk or IT professionals who need a unified, cross-sector framework to manage AI risks effectively.
