Course Description
Blockchain is most associated with cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, Ethereum and now more infamously the fraud of FTX.
However, there are many more possible applications for blockchain technology. Blockchain technology has the potential to be a significant disruptor in terms of how business transactions are initiated, authorized and recorded. It has been compared in magnitude to the introduction of the internet.
This webinar will help to answer these questions:
- what are blockchain and cryptocurrency?
- how does it work?
- how could this technology impact our profession?

- identify when blockchain technology came into existence
