Finance leaders are called upon to address issues that extend beyond technical accounting knowledge. This course provides practical tips drawn from real-world experience, offering a broad range of insights, practices, and lessons learned from a veteran CFO.
Participants will explore practical approaches to improving performance, and responding to common challenges faced by controllers, CFOs, and other finance leaders. The session also provides an opportunity to exchange ideas with peers, compare practices, and gain perspectives that can support greater effectiveness in day-to-day leadership and decision-making.

Live webinars have varying levels of expected interaction, with some requiring microphone and camera capabilities to support a proper learning experience – please email pdreg@bccpa.ca if you have concerns.
In general, we encourage participants to have their cameras turned on to enhance their virtual learning experience. This practice promotes a stronger connection with the instructor and fellow participants, and fosters improved communication and collaboration.

STEPHEN PRIDDLE, CPA, CA, CMA is Vice-President, Finance and CFO of Fidus Analytics as well as President, of Practical PD, Courses For Accountants. Stephen started his career with KPMG, before working for several different companies prior to joining Fidus. He has gained a wide range of financial reporting, treasury management, mergers & acquisition and other experience.
