An Introduction to Advanced Budgeting Techniques (Live Webinar - Multi Segment)
Former Title: Advanced Budgeting Techniques
Overview
Is your budgeting process struggling to keep pace with changing market conditions, increasing complexity, or greater uncertainty in your operating environment? If your organization is questioning whether traditional budgeting approaches still support effective planning and decision making, this course provides a practical starting point for exploring alternative methods.
This course introduces participants to advanced budgeting techniques used to strengthen planning discipline, improve forecast quality, and enhance decision support. The session is designed to bridge the gap between traditional budgeting practices and more advanced approaches by introducing three widely used frameworks: activity based budgeting, beyond budgeting, and integrated business planning. These techniques are addressed at an understanding and application awareness level, focusing on concepts, decision logic, and practical implications rather than detailed system design or implementation planning.
Instruction is supported by structured discussion, illustrative examples, and applied exercises that emphasize comprehension and managerial relevance. This course is intended for professionals who already work with budgets and forecasts and are seeking a structured introduction to advanced budgeting approaches without the expectation of developing or executing full implementation roadmaps within a single session.
