Overview

Participants will receive a concise update on recently approved and proposed changes to the CPA Canada Handbook – Assurance that affect audit engagements. Participants will also examine current AASB/IAASB projects and practice inspection themes to identify impacts on planning, execution, and reporting.

 


This live virtual seminar is offered in collaboration with CPA Western Provinces. The content is applicable to all participants.

  • Practitioners serving not-for-profit organizations. 
  • Audit managers and seniors responsible for engagement planning and file quality.

  • Describe how revisions to Canadian Auditing Standards may affect upcoming audit engagements. 
  • Anticipate pending changes and assess their implications for audit planning and procedures. 
  • Summarize recent practice inspection findings and apply practical steps to address them. 
  • Locate tools and resources that support efficient, compliant audits.
