Overview
The purpose of this session to provide information on the new AML and Trust Account Oversight Programs launched in April 2025. This session will provide an overview of the new programs, what to expect during the review, and resources that will support firms in understanding their new obligations.
Note: this seminar addresses the requirements for licensed practitioners and therefore is only relevant to members in public practice.

Course Description
This session will provide CPA firms and licensed practitioners with an understanding of why the AML and Trust Account Oversight programs have been put in place and an overview of the key components of these two new programs.
The speakers will provide an overview of the questionnaires that must be completed by the firms, as well as where to find the resources to assist with completing the questionnaires.
A note about CPD AML Hours: The content of this seminar provides practical guidance for practitioners regarding their obligations under the new programs. However, it is not intended to cover AML foundational knowledge, and therefore this seminar is not eligible for AML hours.
