As we cautiously tread in unchartered waters ahead, the need to reduce expenses where possible has never been more pronounced. But as business professionals charged with major roles in the rebuilding of our economy, CPAs need to ensure they continue to uphold the integrity of the profession by being always up to date on standards and legislation, as well as being ahead of the curve in areas such as leadership, management, and work efficiencies. This is why we hope that the introduction of some changes to our PD Passports this September will help you achieve better savings while meeting your professional development needs.

Passport Unit moving from days to credits
How does this benefit you?
Since its inception, PD Passport units have been denominated by “days”. As our inventory of courses has grown to include various online on-demand products as well as conference-type sessions, the unit of “days” has become increasingly less than suitable as a unit of measurement. By shifting to “credits”, we are able to align passport units to learning value rather than duration – for example, some of our audio-only on-demand products can be purchased with fewer passport credits than on-demand products of the same duration but with a video component. The goal is to offer our passport holders more flexibility in how they choose to use their passport credits.
