Gain valuable, practical knowledge through this unique and intensive program focusing on US taxation for expatriate and high net worth individuals.

This certificate program will focus on the preparation of US Individual tax returns at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels using software. The program is uniquely designed to help participants develop tax preparation skills through modified real-life cases.

The program is designed to provide hands-on tax preparation, including scenarios for US citizens, Canadian snowbirds, cross-border investors, and expatriates. Focusing on real-world case studies, participants will be trained to prepare Resident, Non-Resident and Dual Status tax returns. The program also delves into detailed discussion on PFICs, 3520s, rental income taxation, and other treaty-related issues, giving participants - especially those practising in the areas of Expatriate taxation and High Worth Individual taxation - practical knowledge and skills that they can apply immediately.

Note: This is an intensive program designed to cover wide breath of issues as part of the tax return scenarios, and it includes self-study activities to reinforce learning. Participants should plan for some homework in between sessions.
